# A reclaimed word that represents sexuality and gender diversity to encompass lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex, fa'afafine and, takat?pui identities, as well as everyone in between and not sure.  This word is used by many people, but it is also appreciated that it is not the preferred term for everybody

* Takat?pui means ?intimate companion of the same sex'.  It refers to cultural and sexual/gender identity

The conference had the support of the Human Rights Commission which hosted a forum on the Yogyakarta Principles.  Our Conference Partner was the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which has enabled us to develop our Conference Programme further.
