Welcome to the January newsletter of the 2nd AsiaPacific Outgames.

Important registration dates

There are three key dates to bear in mind:

January 25: Register by this date and you?ll go in the draw to win some great prizes, including a mountain bike worth over $1000, party tickets and more!
February 7: A late registration fee applies from this date on.
February 26
: Registrations close.

Parties announced

We have announced some details for three Outgames parties: the closing night party, and the men?s and women?s parties. The closing night party, for example, is in a 3-level central city venue, and features great DJs such as Miss Eleni (from Melbourne), and Mark Alsop (from Sydney) as well as top New Zealand talent. The men?s party includes DJ Seymour Butz (from Sydney) and DJ Mauri (from Auckland).

Discount earlybird tickets are on sale to Outgames participants now, through the registration system. Tickets will be available for general sales at a later date. The women?s party will be the high point of the week for the Velvet Club ? the premium Outgames entertainment programme just for women. We have an incredible night planned, to give the girls a wild ride! Tickets on sale soon.

High-powered conference chairs

The chairs for our Human Rights Conference plenary sessions have been announced, and they include gay/lesbian New Zealand Members of Parliament, Kevin Hague and Maryan Street, and the Ambassador of the United States of America to New Zealand, David Huebner. Outgames dinner

This evening celebration will feature the best of Maori and Aotearoa/New Zealand food, and stunning cultural performances, in a very special venue: the newly-opened whare waka (canoe house) on the Wellington waterfront. Tickets available on our website soon.

Valentine's Day Celebration for Women

The Velvet Club and Pink Sofa present a celebration for women who love women! On Valentine's Day, both singles and couples are welcome to enjoy a drink, live entertainment, and sumptuous treats at Perrett's Corner. RSVP on our (or check out who else is going!)

Big Gay Out, Auckland

Meet us in Auckland at the Big Gay Out on Sunday February 13, Midday to 7pm at Coyle Park, Pt Chevalier.

Outgames Quiz Nights
