New Users
Online registration for the Wellington 2011 AsiaPacific Outgames is fast and easy. Just follow these simple steps:
Step 1
Decide how you want to participate!
- Check out our events programme.
- Find sporting events you want to participate in.
- Attend the conference.
- Party hard at the parties!
- Find the paid arts & culture events you want attend
Make sure that the events you choose don't clash. Remember there may be provisional rain days for some sports.
Step 2
Go to the registration system (opens a new window).
Follow the prompts. Complete the personal details form. This includes selecting a Username and Password, so you can login to your registration account at a later date. You can either chose the Submit Application Only button and settle your account once you have selected events, or chose the Submit Application & Pay Online button to pay just your participation fee.
Step 3
When the transaction has been completed, you get to your account menu, where you can register for your events. To do this, click the Add Event button and complete the details for each event. You can register for more than one event at anytime by clicking Add Event.
Step 4
Once you have registered for the events you wish to participate in, you will end up in the Accounts screen. Select the Pay Now button to pay for your events. Registrations are only accepted once you have paid, so please have your Visa or MasterCard ready! Unpaid pending applications are deleted after 14 days. You will recieve an email beforehand to alert you of this.
Existing Users
To log in to the registration system, enter your username and password and click the Login button. You will then be directed to the registration page. You can log in at any time until registration closes on 9 March 2011.
Registering for Sporting Events
You can register for any number of sports. Once you have registered for a sport you can enter as many events in that sport as are indicated on the information page for that sport, but it is your responsibility to make sure that your registered events do not clash.
You only pay one fee for each sport, so you can enter as many events for each sport as are permitted at no extra cost. Again please refer to the individual sport information pages for further information.
Registration for a sport requires you to choose the sport, event, level, age group etc. Some sports also require you to fill in additional personal information regarding your current grade, current time or wether you are aiming for a record in this event.
Once you have registered for a sport, it shows on your registration summary. Until you have completed payment, you can delete your registration for a particular sport.
Registering for the Conference
Registration for the conference requires you to choose the Conference. Once you have registered for the conference, it shows on your registration summary. Until you have completed payment, you can delete your conference registration. After you have paid you will be able to log in to your registration and change your personal choices until close of registration.
Registering for the paid Arts & Culture Events
Registration for the paid Arts & Culture events requires you to choose Arts & Culture. Once you have registered for the event, it shows on your registration summary. Until you have completed payment, you can delete your event selection. After you have paid you will be able to log in to your registration and change your personal choices until close of registration.
Registering for Parties
Registration for Parties uses the EventFinder website separate to registration. Registered participants and supporters have been sent an email explaining how they can buy these at a special price. Refer to the parties section for details on how to purchase these tickets online.
For registered participants and supporters that purchased party tickets as part of their registration, the party ticket purchase(s) will be automatically loaded for you on to your Outgames ID (Snapper) card.
New Zealand Visa Requirements
Following your payment a registration confirmation will be issued which can be presented to the appropriate authority within your country with your visa application, should you require a visa to enter New Zealand. This document will not guarantee a visa being issued, and 2nd AsiaPacific Outgames accepts no responsibility for this process.

Should your visa application be declined, you may apply for a refund of the registration fee. Please contact the Registration Team including your request, name, date of birth, email address and proof of the declination.
An administration fee of $50.00 NZD will be deducted from the refund.
Frequently Asked Questions
I've forgotten my registration username & password. How do I retrieve this information?
If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the link under the Forgotten Password section. Enter your email address and have your password sent to you.
How do I make changes to my personal details?
Changes to personal data (except for your name, birthday and gender) can be done online by logging into the registration system using your username and password until the day accreditation starts. If you have questions regarding changing your personal data please contact the Registration team
How can I make changes in my registration details for an event?
If you have yet to pay for your event: Simply remove the event and re-enter it. This can be done online by logging into the registration system using your username and password. Click the ACCOUNTS button. Under the Outstanding Fees section, select the event you want to remove and click the corresponding delete icon (red X). Confirm the deletion. Then click the ADD EVENT button to re-enter the event using the new details.
If you have already paid for your event: Please contact the Registration team. Please include your name, date of birth and the event you wish to change. We will email you with the details we currently have registered for you and you can send us a return email outlining the changes to make. There may be an administration charge for such changes.
