Lawn Bowls is one of the confirmed sports that will be held at the 2nd AsiaPacific Outgames.
Venue |
The Park Bowling Club is situated in Kilbirnie and is sited right next door to the Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre, the venue for the swimming and diving. The Park Bowling Club is on a major bus route and is approximately a 15 minute ride from the central city.

Facilities |
The Park Bowling Club has well appointed club rooms. Kilbirnie shops are a 2 minute walk away. |
Competition |
There will be three events offered:
Participants can enter up to 3 events. The competition will take place over two days with one reserve rain day. Day one will consist of pool play and day two will be finals (those who didn't qualify for finals will still play on day two). People who are not in pre-registered teams will have the option of joining composite teams for the Pairs and Fours events. |
Format |
Singles: Pool play format. The player with most wins will qualify for the next round. The number of rounds will depend on the number of players. Pairs: Round robin format. Fours: Round robin format. |
